disney. i know this is aimed at kids but c'mon. u released the first one like ages ago and don't expect those kids who are older now to watch it? like no. i did not like this guys so sorry. for someone who grew up with frozen and hasn't seen it until now, this was so disappointing. i thought that i would enjoy it to at least some degree keeping in mind that sequel's never live up to the original. but it was so predictable and the songs were not catchy or good at all. it was 1000X one of the worst sequels for someone who loves almost all the sequels. so sorry disney but this sucked. here's why: *spoilers from now on* these are the main plot points that didn't make sense: - olaf "dying" like wht. and then just coming back. - why would elsa, the literal QUEEN OF ICE, freeze for no apparent reason, in the middle of some ambiguous place? - the parents dying 6 years ago and quickly touching on the ship but then moving on from it like it wasn't a big deal. - the spirit thing didn't make sense. - why is anna queen in the end? and elsa in the woods? - anna's extremely out of place and weird overreactions when kristoff tries to propose (which was super cringey in the end when he proposes anyway) - how the heck does elsa freezing a barrier stop the wave and save arendelle. this is everything else: - the songs were every five minutes i swear and not even interesting and kinda painfully lengthened. - didn't reveal anything new. - i felt like they were trying to mimic the original's humour but it was so dry and bland. olaf was a bit of relief but mostly unoriginal script and painful to watch.. - everyone would quarrel every 5 seconds and then make up 2 seconds later and it was so incoherent. - why do they keep telling us what happens. it should be so that i can watch it without being confused as to what they are referring to how to have improved: - keep the absolutely breathtaking costumes and graphics. shame it was used for such a bad movie. - explore the culture of the newly introduced northuldra (with a cool song) instead of anna and elsa's weird incoherent dialogues the entire time. - then expand on mother's connection to them instead of the weird statues which appear everywhere. - elsa learning and being trained on her powers by some mentor instead of just some random powers scattered throughout the film. pls pls pls improve the next movie. save these characters from going into the bin bc this movie was too painful to watch.
