Another recycled revenge fantasy that would be tedious if it weren't so viscerally repulsive. It's not surprising that Chris Pratt would lead the cast in this steaming mash-up of patriotic homily and murder porn. What *is* surprising is that Pratt's character turns out to be an unvarnished sociopath with a brain tumor...whom we're also asked to cheer on as he hacks, slashes and eviscerates his way through his to-do list. This is another clear signal that we live in an age of "bully culture" – the kind of mindless valorizing of bloodlust that was so savagely mocked in the far superior series running concurrently on Amazon: The Boys.
