Well, I found Squid game quite interesting but I didn't understand the hype. Like why is it so hyped up ? So many other worthy series are out there but they are still underrated but this was hyped up like anything. Every other contact of mine posted stories and all, I get it it's a unique concept and all but it's okay really.
(Spoiler alert)
Gi-Hun accused Il-Nam that they did bad things to other contestants and made them do bizarre things to each other but I have a question to ask that, Gi-Hun, weren't you aware about the happenings ? In the first game called green light, red light you saw everything properly that they were killing the ones who failed the tasks. And later on due to the majority of votes you all decided to quit the game and you were sent home safely. And when the invitation came to rejoin the game, did you refuse it ? No ! Because you wanted the money. But if you would have wanted you could have refused the offer and led your so called normal life. Did anyone force you ? Your incapabilities led you there because YOU needed money. The game makers were quite transparent with what was happening to the contestants. They killed them in front of other people, they didn't sugar coat anything, whatever there was it was in front of everyone else.
I have nothing against anyone 🌚. I loved the actors and the way they played their role. But I kinda dislike the fact that the real good series which deserve to get hyped up aren't getting and the ones which are sort of fine and good are getting bizarrely hyped up.
