This show is honestly disappointing. Its a failed attempt of like that Teen Wolf teen centred stories. But it feels childish and riverdale-ish. Even the cgi is really disappointing, it baffles me that tvd and the originals came before legacies but looked and worked better. i understand if the demographic is for a younger audience but it doesn’t make sense because tvd and originals audiences would be older and more likely to consume legacies cos it’s kinda nostalgic. This review is based off the first seasons i’ll attempt to carry on watching.

see i never got the hype and never watched the show and always though tvd and the originals would be untopable so there would be no point. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. i can say with chest Teen wolf is WAYYYYYYY better and that’s coming from a stubborn tvd fan. like i haven’t even finished the show and i’m jaw dropped MY JAW IS DROPPED i can’t i’m in love with this cast and it’s so funny just chefs kiss.

the day before i found this show i was desperately looking for something to what then this appeared. It’s like finding the most chilled, hydrating and refreshing glass of water in a heat wave. It amazes me how a show could be comedic but also the seriousness is executed so perfectly it’s tear jerking. i cried. The way the show also is so relatable and well executed AMAZES ME they included the universe experience of western a preteen/teen. I also like to mention, how i found it great in the kissing scenes, i think they used a visibly older actor. It’s perfect that a show which largely involves child actors respect boundaries and doesn’t endanger their cast.
