This was absolutely a fever dream experience. I loved courage as a kid and enjoyed Scooby doo too but this movie left a strange emptiness that left nostalgia for these series carrying the whole movie. I think Eustace’s new voice actor does a good job at embodying the character but his dialogue and for the most part all of the dialogue and story of this movie are extremely distant. They grasp at straws to pull the story together and there are generally no funny jokes that aren’t repetitive. Much of the major points of this movie just don’t seem like they belong in either series. I would love some day to see a courage reboot but not if the writing is this lackluster.
