Deeply thoughtful and shocking film. The chaos and destruction of Mosul by Daesh aka ISIS or ISIL is fully connected to the empty souls of those pretending that they are defending religious values. The SWAT team that existed in Iraq shows how many peoples lives were torn apart. I appreciated the reality that this film showed of the hell people have to live in and the incredible amount of corruption that is a global nightmare. Bravo to all who made this heartbreaking film.

A beautiful film with an amazing cast. Costumes and amazing architecture in the era of old versus new money — dazzling. Great story line

What a fabulous documentary. Quincy Jones has given much to the world. His lovely daughter Rashida had put his life into beautiful perspective. I am 76. He’s older but not by much. His influence on music and life has been part of mine. He said something so profound (1) music and water are necessary and (2) his biggest failure marriage. Ain’t we all. Beautiful must see if this genuine genius.

A great book made into a masterpiece of cinematography. Beautiful and tragic. Thomas Mann was a brilliant author and Visconti made a film with the perfect cast.
