I've played halo since the original CE over 20 years ago. Some in the series have been better than others. Halo 4 was much worse than the first 3, but when 5 cut out the couch co-op AND split-screen death match, that was a new low. My son and I couldn't play it together as he had done the others years earlier. When 5 was new i bought it, was immediately disappointed, I played single player about 10 min and shut it off, never touching it again. I felt it had broken some of what had made Halo a smash in the first place.

I'm half way through the game. Very scary, dark and tense which I enjoy very much but I am lost all the time from a lack of guidance.
