There were many facets to the personality, and many manifestations of the genius that was Frank Zappa. This movie illuminates a part of that story, yet still reveals enough to give the unfamiliar viewer a sense of the overall work, and life of perhaps the most prodigious, unique and creative musical force of the 20th century.
