Graeme Hutton

This 3-part series starts of very strongly and maintains this for at least two episodes. Oddly, the third episode seems to be somewhat too self-indulgent.

Too self-absorbed as a show about it's overall theme and subject matter.

This is great TV, especially if you appreciate or are open to franglais culture. I would say several reviews undervalue this insightful, witty and powerful drama series.

Surprisingly funny throughout the whole movie.

Light sabres are so derivative of Star Wars.

This crime thriller undoubtedly is very well acted by all its players and the sense of place and time is excellent, but I found it a little pretentious in terms of direction. For example, do we really need the series to be presented in monochrome and the story takes too long to unfurl itself. In this regard, I found the series overworked, although I would still recommend it.

Huge fun, very watchable and fast paced, if a little shallow.

Soapy, edging on the melodramatic. For clarity, the other Diplomat drama starring Kerri Russell is much better than this series.

Initially very gripping and visceral but it becomes somewhat long winded towards the end. Definitely worth watching but it feels like it should be 7 episodes instead of 8.
