Mad Max meets Fellini meets Avant Garde student film. This is so LAUGHABLY BAD. No continuity shots...just jump cuts that make no sense and make the story impossible to follow. There's basically no arc. The dialogue was written by an artistic 7 year old. I had the fast forward button ready for the duration of the movie.

loved it! dracula is a very overdone story, but this was a new take in a new environment. i would've liked to have seen dracula talk more but i guess that's part of the mystique.

absolutely mesmerizing. cannot stop thinking about this series. on the edge of my seat like watching the godfather, forrest gump, or good will hunting for the first time.

in every episode...the second that the 2 characters annie flynn and mildred gunning come onscreen i mentally check out and fast forward past their scenes. reason being: they're supposed to be the "elderly people" on the show and are instead played by incredibly young actresses. the makeup is horrible and does nothing to make them look old. it's rather hard to watch and impossible to suspend your disbelief. this is a decent show ruined by abysmal casting. why on earth wouldn't you give those roles to actual elderly women??? there are so few roles for women of this age. casting younger women to play elderly women is a slap in the face and just shows the Hollywood bias against aging in general. this was SUCH a missed opportunity to have diverse age groups on this show. i think everyone on the show is younger than 45...so it's just not really a believable depiction of a small fishing town in New England. sad.

Absolutely a must see. It saddens me that most millennials will never get to watch these films on streaming channels.

after my most favorite Aussie show Mr In-Between ended I was searching for another outback watching extravaganza. found it! THIS SHOW WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU. this show was amazing. incredible acting, snappy writing. bittersweet and little love in between so many twists and turns. i cannot wait for season 2. Still really upset about Mr In-Between.

The majority of people have terrible taste in music and movies. This was a great movie and way beyond the layman's scope of enjoyment. If you're looking for big budget action shoot em up or Madea this movie may not be for you. I loved this movie. That being said I realize I'm in the minority as I also like film noir, old black and white, thrillers and foreign films. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't wait to see what happened next. The movie has a poignant message about aging in that father time stops for no one and we should live/love/breathe in the moment. Well done m. Night. I enjoyed this very much!
