Oh my gosh I wanted to love this. Or even like it. But man, I hated it. The plot was awkward and didn’t flow, the romance is so cringe because he’s lived for thousands of years and she’s vanilla, the dialogue doesn’t flow, there is little character development, the scenes don’t leave enough time for the viewer to get invested in what’s happening, and the humor is clunky and awkward. Also not enough time spent with my girl Valkyrie who is, in my opinion, the best character. Music is always on point. But it didn’t carry the film. It’s hard not to compete this to Ragnarok (which is my all time favorite) but even without the comparison, this one blows.

One of my favorite films. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic or it reminds me of the utter and incomprehensible joy that comes from finding your person.

The acting is so bad. I laughed for the majority of the film. Cool plot twist but the ending is so awkward and rushed - did they just get bored and want to make it end as quickly as possible? Probably.
