To be succint, Padmaavat is a total drag and ain't worth your money if you're a restless person. If you aren't a staunch fan of either the actors or Bhansali you're going to get your eyes droop throughout the film. Coming to the actors, except for Ranveer Singh and Jim Sarbh, no one has actually given a noteworthy performance, including Shahid and Deepika. Aditi Rao Hydari would have done a much better performance as Queen Padmavati than Deepika, from my outlook. The cinematography, sets, visuals, costumes and backdrops were the only aspects of the movie that were truly magnificent. They were flawless to be honest. The music and BGM score were quite commendable, yet few songs weren't actually complementing the scenes well. On the whole, I'd give Padmaavat a 2/5. Worth watching once.
