Most news shows are 98% bad news and 2% good news (which comes at the very end of the broadcast). Since the coverage of the corona virus has started, I find it difficult to watch David Muir deliver the news. His presentation and reporting style has always been very "up front" and "in your face" but now I look at him as Chicken Little - crying that the sky is falling and then he proceeds to tell you why. At his point in time we need a little break from the doom and gloom and the effects of the virus. Instead of telling us how many new cases and deaths, can you report on the number recovered? Try to find a little more good to report on which would provide viewers with a bit more optimism. Times are tough - no doubt about it....but can it be delivered in such a way that while we are quarantined we can see some light at the end of the tunnel?
