To start of, I'm a Vijay fan, and I'm a bangalorean, I don't watch more of Tamil movies, but I watch most of Vijay, Suriya and other actors movies. Sarkar being a political thriller, is quite Good, the movie starts by Vijay being a successful CEO of a huge company, where he comes to his home town to vote for the coming elections. He finds out about how his vote has been canceled and how there are many people who make fake votes. This movie shows a lot about the election process and the political world in our country. This movie even shows a lot about the Tamil Nadu government issues and the people of Tamil Nadu being totally dependent on the parties for various schemes and other things they get from. The government for votes. This clearly shows how people need to change and bring out new faces and why the youth should start playing an important role in the nation building. A major part of the county thinks that there is no difference that makes with just one vote that is not done, but this movie shows about the importance of the voting system and the changes that needs to be implemented to the people for a better society. This is a total thriller, but the 1st half of the movie is a bit boring . The real movie kicks starts after the intervals. Watching Vijay on the big screen is it self a pleasure. One time watch for sure.

The most annoying movie of 2018. This is a total non- entertainer for me, I got really bored after 30 minutes into the movie. So predictable and there is no story line into it. Vijay devarakoda gained a lot of fans after pellichoopulu and arjun reddy, which I thought he was a new fresh face, where he would choose a great movie, with amazing story. But this movie was a total disappointment from Vijay. Atleast not after a fabulous acting after arjun reddy, didn't expect him to come up with such a movie, where we had seen similar stories before in telugu long back. There was nothing new in the movie which would make people sit at the edge of there seats and wait eagerly for the movie. Rashmika isn't that great too, she's a really bad actress. One thing we got to appreciate is Vijay's acting and the charm he brings out, other than that I don't think this is a really good entertainer. I would rate this a 4.5/10
