Just everything is off from the original Dexter character. Dexter could not have actual feelings. He was intelligent and cold to act. What did we get from this new series? A Dexter loving his everyday life, dumb and impulsive to act. That's not an evolution of the character, it just makes him the opposite. How they tried to evoke the original series? Making a random serial killer his enemy. Repeated formula with a dull Dexter this time. The plot has so many inconsistencies: - The reason for Dexter to lose control was that one guy killed a deer. - Dexter has a job that only serves to justify the previous point - The girlfriend has a life purpose of finding her friend's killer, but because Dexter spied on one conversation, all her energies turned against Dexter and forgot everything else, having the guilty guy on her nose, escaping from justice. -Dexter escapes stealing the KEY FROM THE GUARD. That is the most cliche and stupid plot in every cheap movie and very low for a sophisticated character. -When Dexter is escaping, the son is not in the agreed place, so Dexter calls him, and the son responds with no problem, and Dexter says, "oh, you are there. That's even better". What a pointless joke. The rest is boring in a way that doesn't worth even mentioning. OMG, what did they do with such an epic series? They tried to fix the finale doing it absolutely worst

Awful, a festival of plot holes.

I can't understand other users saying they loved the movie and if you don't like it you didn't get it. The idea of 'Fatman' was executed in the worst way possible. Poor development. Every funny moment is ruined by a bad closing of the joke. The action was just an tiny part from the movie but not good enough to save it from the lowest score possible for me. I really wanted to find something good on it, but there's nothing good. I regret to spend my money and time in watching this awful movie.
