Felt incredibly forced. Generally love all the actors involved, but didn’t buy any of it at all. The film is pretty much a glorification of drugs and sex with a plot of a woman who cannot get over her ex couched inside it. Maybe I’ll give it another go, but I’m not buying Rodriguez as a stoner New Yorker millennial. Her lines with “NY lingo” like “deadass” with a weird take on the NY accent, as well as cursing a lot felt really forced.
