It's such heartfelt experience. I'm a cancer survivor so it really resonated with me. A support group found varied people with a diagnosis that will shorten their lives. He is a comedian and is very funny but also wonderful at being honest with others...no wrapping them in cotton wool but genuine concern and humour and tender moments and best of all TRUTH.

Fabulous film very atmospheric filled with affection, friendship, empathy. Flawed characters. The amphibian is a master stroke...he is rendered helpless and at first frightening...but he is humble and curious. This is a movie where the meek conquer the cruel and powerful. I found it beautiful in such a bleak setting.

Whoever put the 3 main characters together deserves an award. Loved the combo of Breslin, Reynolds and Fisher. The plot was sad but moved thru a break up done well and a 'new' family set up. All very mature and satisfying. 5/5

What could go wrong? My two favourite male actors Dano and Radcliffe. The story has to be special, challenging and spiritual with those two at the helm. It's thought-provoking and clever. 10/10 for me

Love this movie...it's fresh and real. It's like the childhood I had that burns brightly in my mind as tge best time of my life. The kuds are brilliant and Willem Defoe plays the perfect kind and crusty manager.
