When you endeavour to make something awesome even though your audience is just kids, it might just become one of their all time favourite movies. 34 years later and I still love this movie. It still stands up as a Sci-Fi war movie and a heroes journey, with a Metal sound track that makes it feel like a Rocky movie. It strives and succeeds to be something more than a toy commercial.
