Great seeing the gals and NYC! I never really liked Catrall. She acted as though she was the star. They all were stars of a ensemble cast. Catrall s acting, most of the time, was a cross between Peggy Bundy of "Married with Children" and Mae West, only more annoying. Catrall was throwing her two cents in, again, letting all of us know, "she was the fan favorite" and of course, "I'm not Samantha...." No kidding. Samantha, the character, would have been fun to have around and Samantha, the character, would not be taking pot shots at more successful actresses. She should reflect on the failure of "Filthy Rich." If she was the "big draw" on the original SATC, it sure didn't translate. The original SATC worked very well because the viewer believed these women were truly friends and invested in the others lives. Nobody, except Catrall has ever said a foul word about the other cast members. They all seem to really respect and admire SJP, except Catrall. Did she do a good job as Samantha? Sure. I would venture to say that if it weren't for SATC, most of us would have been asking "who is Kim Catrall?" The answer now seems to be, she's the negative, jealous one who was the only cast member to go to the dark side. Nice job Kim.
