A truly peculiar masterpiece of a film. This work showcases Wes Anderson before his style was quite developed and realized; and in a way, that's exciting and novel. Aside from being truly hilarious, the film characteristically was woven with quirkiness, and (above all) emotion. One of the best high school movies I have ever seen heretofore.
