Nothing has changed. I stopped watching due to self righteous walleed and bickmore, and there oh so important opinions. I have now just seen a post on SM about Langbroek being slammed by her colleagues for having a different opinion regarding 15 minute smart cities. Kate langbroek was sceptical. There seems to be a new intolerance for opinions that don't fit. Why is this? Know it all and self righteous Walleed said that good ideas might never get off the ground. To that I would say , they provabky would if in the right hands and in a consultative process.. you know, like when in a democracy. But governments can't be trusted and for this reason, a potential good idea such as smart cities (with a ton of surveillance) would become an opportunity for control. As is the case in China. If all politicians lived in the same smart cities with the same rules, then I'd have to think about it.
