I know I'm late to the party but. This game is perfect or damn near perfect. First let's talk story. The story while changed is still the same just so much more added in. The world map is beautiful and definitely the highlight of the game. 4 years it took them to make rebirth but the graphics are so good you would think they spent 10 years on it. The characters are fun. All of them are here however two of them you can't play as. Lots and lots of mini games jam packed. Not all of them are fun but most of them are. The only bad ones is in nimbihim or however you spell that towns name. It's chapter 11 and most of the time your playing as caitsit through most of the character and mini games for that chapter. Other then that I have no complaints. I can't find much wrong with it to not give it a perfect 5 out of 5 score

I give it a 4 star rating. Here is why. While the story is great it's to short and you play as Jin for 90% of it. They needed to make story let you play as all the characters. If mk can do it with mk1 Tekken should have done it with Tekken 8. Plus the story was to short for my liking. It has Tekken ball mode that's nice but no Tekken force or Tekken bowling something many fans of Tekken was hoping to see return in Tekken 8 yet both not there. Some of the new characters are fun I don't care that Anna isn't in the game that's not a big loss for me because they brought back jun to a numbered Tekken game. For those that don't know the last numbered Tekken game jun was in was Tekken 2. The reason is because she died after two but before Tekken 3. She has been in other Tekken games like Tekken tag tournament 1 and 2 but not a mane Tekken game until now. That scores big brownie points for me because she is my favorite Tekken character. Please update the game add Tekken force and Tekken bowling and for the love of God don't add tifa from ff7 add aerith from ff7 instead.

Some of these complaints don't seem right. Yes some old rivals like scorpion and sub-zero isn't in this game but you know what that's fine. Why is it fine because this is a reboot where lk is in control of all the relms. He made this universe to be a peaceful universe until a outsider ruins that. 2 invasions is definitely different but if you like exp grinding like in rpg games invasions is actually fun. For those that don't yeah you might not like it. Plus it's hard if you half soft hands and can't handle a challenge then yes your soft hands will hate invasions. But if you love a challenge the boss fights in invasions are fun. 3. The story is amazing I feel it's a little short but it's still amazing. 4. My only complaint is I wanted more characters then what we have gotten but that's nothing dlc can't fix. So in all mk 1 is amazing it has some problems but nothing to stop it from being a 5 star game unless you are a switch owner and are playing mk 1 on the switch then yeah I can see bad reviews for that one.

Updating now that I played the game more. It's hard is really hard and I died a lot when I say a lot I mean a lot. However with that said it's fun it's amazing and within 3 days I beat the game. I can't wait for dlc I hope they make more chapters and me ha parts and weapons. If you can't handle a challenge go play mario that's probably more your style if you need a game to hold your hand. Now if you want a real challenge one that will push you to get better with each lose then this is the game for you. It will not hold your hand it will not baby you. You can't change the difficulty. It's definitely a get good or give up type of game just what a player like me wants and needed after beating that super easy zelda totk game. This game yeah its not like the older armored core games its better in my book. I hope for dlc or armored core 7 to be soon I need more I'm hooked on this game its fun challenging it reminds me of ninja gaiden on the nes type challenge. Now I need to go back and 100% the trophies for the game.
