But tamil thriller( excellent) films released so far tried to fit in a typical tamil template( so tat it cud be easily decoded by everyone) Fortunately, this is not the case here! Read out to find out..😉 An enigmatic serial killer who is on a killing spree in coimbatore city, hunts down young ladies and guillotining them! Our female lead also happens to fall into killer's trap which leads to our male blind lead tracking her and proving his love! The movie itself begins on a very unusual manner( watch it for urself)with a spine chilling moment!.( After many years, a thriller film has justified it's A certification 🤩) . Udhay as gowtham perfectly fits into his role by showcasing his acting skills after a long tym. Aditi, Nithya Menon are the ultimate show stealers😍😍😍.. ( Never ever seen character shade of Nithya Menon, Hats off!,🥳) . Rajkumar Pitchumani( Angulimala / Psycho) jsut grazes away his counterpart ( Christopher- Ratsasan) by fairly large Miles! Wat an actor he is!🥰🥰. Pritam chakravarthy(Rachel) nails her bizarre role on a very high stupendous note! Coming to the merits, we could witness the deep writer Mysskin ( ma personal fav) very well in each of his frames used! I assure you that this man's brain is worth one million dollars😛. Truly the INDIAN MASTER OF THRILLERS! Tanvir's cinematography( TOP ANGLE CAR SHOTS😍) just adds spice to mysskin's thoughts( Wow debut😘) As the saying goes, WATER IS THE ELIXIR OF LIFE, RAJA SIR'S BGM IS THE ELIXIR OF PSYCHO!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. MAESTRO FOR A REASON! I assure you that Unna nenachu will rule ur playlists with trademark RAJAISM! . Wat felt so special was the VISUAL REPRESENTATION of the psycho's flashback - SADANGU SCENE which Marks the bamboozled writing of Mysskin( tired of those usual separate portions dedicated for flashback alone) . On the contrary, there cud have been a little detailing on the investigation process to track the psycho( maybe am not tat sharp to crack those eventhough am used to Mysskin films) For general audience, this would be a head spinning affair affair! ( leaving out the lack of CCTV logic for which I had no complaints) . Wat makes Psycho a winner is tat Mysskin very well manages to threaten us with his brutal Psycho as well as he makes us feel for him at the end ! 🥴. As it is an A rated film, family audience, kids will find this film an obnoxious one ! ( Guys below 18 are strictly prohibited due to the extreme gore) Finally , my thirst for a blood oozing thriller in Kollywood is fulfilled🤩🤩(Hard hitting tribute to Sir Alfred Hitchcock) VERDICT: Dear 18+, TAKE A MELANCHOLY DIP INTO THIS BLOOD SHEDDED MYSSKIN SAGA! TRUE SUCCESSOR OF RATSASAN😍. RATING: 9.5/10 ( For me( thriller freak) it was a 2 time watch as I thoroughly enjoyed every frame😘😘) General audience: 6/10 (Extreme gore + not so inadequate detailing)

FAN BOY MOMENT😍. MOVIE: DARBAR( U/A) RUN TIME: 2HR 39 MIN After the biggest blockbuster of 2019's Petta, Thalaivar is yet again back with a bang fa the pongal fest! Also his first collaboration with the ACE director ARM bankrolled by LYCA productions. Let's get into the plot.. A m( b) ad cop is on a killing spree at mumbai thrashing drug goons with gunpowder all over! Also he seeks out revenge for his daughter 's death .Rest of the plot u know right? Of course he ll succeed in it as well ! First things first. Rajinikanth as Aditya ARUNACHALAM is the ultimate show stealer as usual. How many times we ve witnessed this old rusty workhorse shouldering the entire film? Even at his 70's this MAN is a wonder! ( Work out scenes ku hats off) Intro is top notch with fireworks perfectly set for a festival release! Nivetha Thomas ( after a convincing role in Papanasam) happens to be Aditya's loveable daughter is another it in loading sentiments or urging her dad to propose a girl, she steals our hearts as well! Nayanthara ( ppl complained about her role in BIGIL,but here it's a very futile one😶😶) Hoping fa lady superstar to take a break in choosing films and grant a monstrous comeback! Sunil shetty ( our antagonist) too joins the older list of Bollywood villains who pretends to threaten initially, but is finally lost and smashed in front of the more powerful THALAIVAR! Yogi babu gets a refreshing rolew with his oneliners with Thalaivar tickling our bellies. Anirudh just rolls his drums with a bang ( BGM) elevating every possible scene ( we cud make out tat he is one if the biggest fanboys of all) . Chumma kizhi rules the album, while Tharam maara is a peppy number depicting the CHILDish thalaivar gestures. KANNULA THIMIRU is my personal fav with the transgenders dancing heaving praises for Aditya as he demolished every goon in air ! 😍😍😍😍. Ppl have already started murmuring tat ARM has lost his midas touch in the recent films( its true) . Even in Sarkar , one could pack some important social messages into his bags , but sadly in Darbar , it's the first HERO WORSHIP movie from ARM😪😪. No comments😷.. Santosh sivan's beautiful picturisation is an added bonus ( He is the master)🤩🤩... THANI VAZHI seqence- wat a man 😍😍😍😍😍😍. ( THALAIVAR swag coupled with Ani's BGM After a fiery packed first half, second half begins to lose steam and ends as an usual masala film without ARM's ace touches!🥵🥵. Stunt sequences are uber cool( RAM LAKSHMAN AND PETER HEIN ku bouquets- climax fight) There are of course notable moments in the film ( Dad daughter sentiment scene)😘. Special mention: Loved the way ARM portrayed thalaivar's romance with the heroine ( solid justification- a much better relief) Sreeman scene!😍 VERDICT: TRULY A RAJINIFIED CLASSIC, BUT DEFINITELY NOT A CULT CLASSIC! Rating: 7/10( Go and give it a watch only for our superstar and just leave out ARM from ur brains)

Whoof!! Sarkar has managed to break all the shackles spun around its release !. Heavy criticisms( promotions) from political parties 😁 . !! Third film in ARM VIJAY combo. The plot is a well known fact among ppl even before its release !.Vijay , an NRI ( corporate criminal) comes to India to cast his vote and finds that someone casted already .The usual cat and mouse drama starts here . Hey hey .but hold on wait !! Except Its a political drama ! ! .. Vijay anna 's earth shattering screen presence holds this movie firmly. STYLE QUOTIENT 😍😍😍😍🤗 The way ARM unveils the knots spun around the plot is amazing ! Unlike the past 2 blockbusters , SARKAR looks a little different. Maturity in annan's acting and the way film progresses are the key points. Clap worthy dialogues all around !! ARM sir hats off for this script!! First half is racy and power packed with many paisa vasool scenes !! As a die hard fan , my throat went gaga over THALAPATHY'S mass moments!! 😍😍.. Second half is a rollercoaster ride with many political influenced moments which happened here( not willing to quote those scenes as these incidents are well known ) . The way in which the interval block carries itself is a delight !! Cute body language transitions from ANNA ! A welcome change!! Most fav scene would be WHEN HE CHALLENGES RADHA RAVI SIR , UNGA THALIVAN BRAND EH EH KILI KILI NU KILICHU KAATREN followed by THALAPATHY 's sarcastic gestures !! 😍😍😍.. ARR sir😍. BGM'S top notch 😎. That too title card bgm ku i ll surrender myself 😍😍.. Girish brother hats off !! New dimensional cinematography 😍.Kollywood welcomes you with a red carpet! Stunt scenes ultimately steal the show ! High octane !😍.Ram lakshman!.😎.Varu sarathkumar mam😍.. Top notch performance. May her badass and terrifying performances continue!! . Karuppaih sir vera level 😍 Keerthy comes in just as a doll with no mere purpose !😑.but still commercial template to be followed !🙄.. The film starts loosing its grip from the audience in the second half slowly. 😶., but then somehow THALAPATHY manages to pull it back with grungy dialogues ! Logical loopholes😞!! At some point of time , as many tell its like a political launchpad for vijay ,the scenes just deviate much from their mother , SCRIPT which made me slightly glum 😖.. Nevertheless , SARKAR looks formidable with sharp social messages oozing out 😍😍. Tomato and hospital scenes 😍😍 ARM nailed it 😍😍 Finally , to be honest , SARKAR slightly misses out the X FACTOR of ARM vijay annan combo 😶,otherwise os a good and much needed film for everyone ! KELVI KEKNUM was the show stealer and I hope instigation of this thought into people's minds would be strong !! Verdict : Go and give it a watch for VIJAY annan's charisma sandwiched strong social content( 49P) 😎😎 ( which we all need now to the maximum 🤗) My rating ( as a die hard fan) : 9/10 My rating ( assuming a neutral audience) : KATHI THUPPAKI LEVEL ILLANAALUM ONE TIME WATCHABLE AAH IRUKU INDHA SARKAR 😊 : 7/10
