This movie unashamedly pulls at your heartstrings. It also reminds us of what Our Vietnam Veterans went through and still go through everyday of their lives. I believe the characters in this movie represent the many Vietnam Veterans that we all know either personally or through family, friends or friends of friends. I believe it is important to remember what these people sacrificed and continue to sacrifice as Veterans of a war that was extremely unpopular and demonized them. Through efforts to procure The Medal of Valor for one of their fallen comrades, the story lays out the bravery, fear, guilt and lives they now lead after the battle that they want their fellow soldier to receive the medal for. It is an emotional movie, as it should be, the subject matter is still heartbreaking and controversial ❤️
