Our heroes are finally all together, and the dynamic is mirroring the original trilogy. The problem with the movie lies with the lack of creativity just like in The Force Awakens. They resuscitate without explanation Emperor Palpatine, and although it seems to be a good decision for the whole saga, its not a good decision for the trilogy alone. Bring back Sheev, one would expect to see at least an appearance from Vader/Anakin in a ghost or flashback fashion. The Rise of Skywalker is an energetic journey, nonetheless feels cartoonish. The third act is almost an Avengers Endgame copypaste.

Borrowing A New Hope template, The Force Awakens manages to touch peoples hearts with the nostalgia effect. It plays safe, and although the potentially great new characters, the beautiful imagery and production play a good part, the plot is still as lame as ever. If you were to read the script without knowing the aesthetic outcome, you'll probably not like it.

Re-watching the saga in order, I got a good feeling about this movie. The Story of Darth Plagueis the Wise & Vader vs Obi Wan Fight were the best moments! The only cringe I got was when Vader rises and yells NO

A cinematic journey that makes you crumble from start to end. Han Solo and Darth Vader are probably the best characters in the movie, and the bittersweet ending is breathtaking!

With its apparent production flaws that sadly didn't age as good as Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi, A New Hope manages to convey emotion and is ultimately a game changer in cinema history. There is one little movie called Rogue One that made A New Hope something with more weight and meaning

The detective plot of Obi-Wan is very interesting, if only the Anakin and Padme romance mirrored Han and Leia... Still I don't mind the very intentional melo-dramatic acting, after all this isn't meant to be a Scorsese/Tarantino film. A re-watch may be painful and I would skip a lot of scenes!

Coming from a blank perspective, no Star Wars pre-conceptions at all, this is a movie that tries to appeal three demographics at once (children, people in general and adults who saw the original trilogy), hence it fails to do so. If only Anakin was a teenager. If only Jar Jar Binks was out of the equation. If only the intentional melo-dramatic acting style delivered... The 1st act looks like a Power Rangers movie. During the re-watch I was skipping scenes! The only moments that delivered where the pod racing and the Duel of the Fates

It's 2020 and this still feels like the proper ending to the Star Wars Saga, since the principal character of it all was meant to be Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker. (So don't mind the sequel trilogy) Dragging at places, Return of the Jedi is a satisfying conclusion to the father and son soap opera that started in Empire Strikes Back third act. The pacing, like its two predecessors, may be a little slow, but that's just an 80's signature.

I can watch this movie 3 more times! From start to end no skipping scenes Beautiful diving into the Star Wars world and Han's journey into the charismatic smuggler is a hell of a ride!

A highlight in modern cinema. Beautiful film and acting. The tension is high and everything is at stake. Arguably as good as Empire! Wether your a Star Wars fan or not, Rogue One will make you crumble. The whole plot is moving and without a trilogy you get invested emotionally with the characters especially during the third act. Nobody can't argue the plot, acting, music and the whole execution is a master-piece!
