I was too young to see this when it was new. I saw it as an adult and really enjoyed it. Superfly is a real good movie. Its unfair to call it a Blaxploitation movie. Its up there with The French Connection, The Seven Ups and other drug/crime movies of the 70s. Ron O'Neal was outstanding and that is why it was a weight on his career. Definitely worth a watch.
