I imagine this game is 10x better on PC. On console the controls are clumsy and outrageously complex. The style and structure of the game seemed very interesting and charming, but after starting two separate games and about 8 hours of trying so hard to enjoy it, knew the controls had ruined it.

About 3800 hours on the game, enjoyed it immensely with friends in Overwatch 1. As content disappeared and the community grew toxic without any consequences, I ended up the only person left in my group of friends that bothered to play it. Still enjoyed it and had fun, but needed to take lots of lengthy breaks due to the toxicity. Overwatch 2 launched as free to play with promises of free PvE meant to revitalize the game. Blizzard eventually admitted they weren’t working on PvE and then stated what little they had slapped together would be $15. Loot boxes no longer exist and you have to pay $30-$60 to enjoy a skin that previously would have been able to earn by playing. The worst part was the incredible decline of the already toxic community. I spent 9 months reporting racial slurs, homophobic and transphobic slurs, death threats, sexual harassment and threats of rape, literal Nazi propaganda and white supremacists talking candidly about their beliefs. Not a single report I made was ever followed up with. Not. A. Single. One. There’s also people that troll the game by purposefully losing. Less annoying, but still shocking how Blizzard refuses to acknowledge the state of the community. Turns out Blizzard turned overwatch into a money grab for skins and anbad battle pass and worse dlc content and had no problem opening their arms to literal Nazi’s so long as they opened their wallets in turn. Best to not venture into this game. Unless you’re a masochist. Or, I guess, a sadist. Good for you too.
