Shelene Crane

It was an easy read, though not riveting. I found some of the story too convenient and the loose ends too neatly tied up. I preferred the old characters more than the new, who, for some reason, I wasn't really bothered about. Was expecting more from the book after seeing the reviews, but it just left me a little unimpressed and feeling like the tale could have been so much more if just kept as an historical novel. The modern day stuff was resolved too easily for my liking.
