This is a worthwhile read for any runner seeking the answer why to increase volume more and slow down more than you think you need to. The book tells you about the approach that runners in the 40s and 50s used. How the 80/20 came to be and how it is useful to any runner. The only thing I wish there was more detailed description about the physiological adaptations like the biochemistry inside the cells and how it changes, but I guess that too nerdy for a casual runner. 10/10 read it.
