Just Disney continuing it's forced unrealistic diversity and woke garbage to indoctrinate our children's impressionable minds. Had hopes it wouldn't be, but who am I kidding. Turned it off after the first episode

This movie starts off promising with true cinematic feel, (See first 10 minutes) then devolves into a sloppy "you should already know" fan service. The main character was given literal plot armor and I felt no connection to any character other than the rivalry between Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Liu Kang was lack luster considering the lore of the video game and Raiden was monotonous. They could have done much better, especially with the CGI tech and R rating they had at their disposal. The 1995 version had more content than this, save for its dated CGI.
