10/10 film. This film shows what the Middle East is like. The U.S is secretly doing missions in foreign country which they got right but it’s not just the U.S. all these other countries have agents in other countries too.
This movie shows how beautiful the Middle East is while also showing how each country differs. In Iran they beat people and lock them up for no reason. In the UAE they have some strict and religious laws but behind closed doors you can get all the alcohol and beautiful women you want. I’m Afghanistan the Taliban has absolute control and hang people everywhere. And in Pakistan they use Afghanistan for their own benefit. Every character in the movie has a good side and a bad side just like people in real life. I specifically love Afghanistan, not having been there but having many fellow soldiers who have. The khandahar air base is where my unit used to be stationed, the brand new highway shown in the movie was partly helped built by my units and their afghani counter parts, and all the U.S gear that we left behind shoes the gear my unit used to use. To me the movie shows that in life we are both good and bad, but family and brotherhood are things we should value above all else. It was a great film to remember all the soldiers who gave their life fighting in Afghanistan as well as the interpreters that follow them around.
