As someone who has played a lot of the previous titles. I can 100% say this is the worst title they have ever made. Personally I think where they first made a mistake was rushing the end of BFV, they had so much more that they could have done and they “finished” the game with known bugs. That’s where the problems started. Now what is the biggest killer of BF2042 is it doesn’t have a campaign. They should have sat down and made the campaign as the sequel to BF4, you cannot make a game that shadows the events of BF4 and not make the campaign of the events let alone tease us with a mini film. On the actual gameplay, it’s rushed. They used old animations, kinda copied over games, and straight up copied and pasted garbage. DICE should be ashamed of themselves for allowing EA to control them to that extent. This game has really shown that EA and DICE do not care about there communities option. Personally as a gaming franchise you cannot afford to no listen. It also pains to see IGN give this game a 7/10 when it’s no where near that rating. If I could rate this game it would be a 0/10 I would not recommend to anyone to play this.
