Jane the Virgin is the first telenovella I ever watched in my entire life and there wasn't a moment I regretted it. Absolutely everything is on point in this show. The actors are so hilarious and we really feel the emotions they feel. I stopped counting the times I cried during this show. Sometimes I was so caught up in the show that I felt there with them. The show has many great themes. My favorite was the women empowerment. The female characters were so powerful and I just loved it. I also loved the fact that we got to watch grow up a latin american family. I got to learn so much about the culture and got to improve my Spanish. I highly recommend this show. It is worth watching. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Where to start? I loved the show. The characters made me laugh so much especially Lydia. She is insanely talented as well as the other characters. What I love about this show is that we have a lesson every episode: the consequences of drugs and alcohol, safe sex and we get to learn a lot about the LGBTQ+ community. We learn that certain people will identify with different pronouns and that sadly not everyone is supportive of the community. My favorite character is Elena. She is a strong character and reminds me a little bit of myself. I am a feminist and the way Lydia reacts to Elena's remarks remind me of my my dad. He often finds me intense and annoying about the subject. Anyway, I highly recommend the show and I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I did.
