The first series had an odd sort of feel to it. James Nesbitt’s character displayed a rather delayed and fractured response to seeing his dead daughter. In this 2nd series Anne Marie duffs character experiences a totally improbable and over contrived assault from a supposed client. Once again this series is over dramatised and unconvincing. To boot why would the producers break the programs down into 22mjn episodes, which more than anything total ruins any continuity. Why not make the programs 45-50 mins instead?! No I’m afraid this one is a non starter for me.
