Couldn’t stop watching this over-the-top story full of hyperbolic emotions, lust for money, bad decisions, narcissism, and gorgeous settings. But it also contained bravery, love, and redemption. Nothing subtle here. Very enjoyable!

Riveting short series. I have no standing to say whether or not it’s an accurate portrayal of Punjabi life. I would assume, like US crime shows, the violence is exaggerated. Khorra combined the crime and detective elements with societal issues. It was a terrific series.

Good movie. Chaotic with lots going on at once. Narrative somewhat patchy in terms of what caused what, how Barbie World and real world were connected and reflected each other. BUT clever, funny, full of small humorous details. Really takes on the patriarchy. Margot Robbie was adorable as always. I haven’t been a Ryan Gosling fan but he played Ken with such a sense of humor. America Ferrara was just lovely. I’d probably see again to catch more of the small inside jokes.

Watched and wish I hadn’t. Unfortunately, it’s beautifully shot and acted so it won’t be easy to forget, although I’ll try.

I was disappointed after all the hype, and waiting until it finally came to my town. The switches between the comedic and the serious were jarring. I couldn’t quite “get” the ultimate message, if there was one. The plot was simple and predictable, and “feel-good” with satirical elements piled on top, which has fooled audiences to think this movie is special. However, the acting, costumes, soundtrack, and production design were top-notch

Despite some plot holes, things that were not realistic, Retribution’s four episodes kept me up too late. Excellent. (Except I wanted stronger Scottish accents.)
