I did not enjoy this book as I hoped I would. The conversion is somewhat not very pronounced and always interrupted by events and happenings to the main character. I read it looking always towards the conversion. But ... it never happened.
It all ended up in ashes.
There are innumerous explanations for the word "conversion" in the dictionary. So : take your pick!!!

This book is the same theme as payton place from 1964.
Nothing new , boring and the theme is so common place.
The author is nit very authentic.
One star that's all.
