When trying to compare this to the original movie, fans will remain loyal to the original. However, this did a very good job in setting up a sequel better than the original did. I hope this movie hits it budget to be able to put out the sequel. I really enjoyed this version of the story, even with the changes. The way I look at it is, this was a good bridge between fans of the direction of where the game was taken to and the fans of the original movie and first 3 games. Can't wait for Ryan Reynolds to play johnny Cage's return (wishful thinking).
