The movie is boring. WOW, what a terrible execution of what could have been a good movie. There is no antagonist. There is no conflict. Yes, I said it. They made a movie about a general who fought 60+ battles and multiple wars and they make the viewer feel like there is no conflict in the movie. They show 3-4 battles briefly. But most of the movie wasn’t about war. Believe it. This movie should have been called “Josephine” not Napoleon. The movie revolves around Napoleons wife, and it’s nauseating now much time the movie spends on her. Secondly, the dark tone overlay of footage makes it hard to see many of the scenes well. They might as well have made the movie black and white as the colors are intentionally faded. Lastly, they had some of historical accuracies, but the battle of Austerlitz is completely wrong. They completely made up how the battle happened and reduced it to mere “tactics”. They show no strategy. This is what bothers me most about the movie. The movie about the greatest strategist of the 1700’s, and they never even discuss strategy or hint at his strategic genius. They rather preferred to make him look like a fool in his interactions with his wife. What a waste of time. I do not recommend this movie.

Story Line = OK Acting = Good Comedy = Good Family Friendly = not so good Analysis below: One of the three main characters is gay. Made some obscure reason as to why that was relevant to the story line. I remember the days when Disney made family based movies for kids. What is the value in making the tertiary character gay? Then the movie makes sexual innuendo between the gay character and the other male character "do you want to bite down on my stick?" They really know how to alienate their conservative audience. Time frame and technology = Way off -> WW1 time frame, they are driving model T-s in England yet the Germans have a WW2 style submarine? Really? Why not give them a space shuttle as well while you're at it. Besides that, the movie was ok. I expected better from Disney.
