let me start off by saying that i like it and i don't like it and allow me to explain:
I like it because of Billy Eichner and Luke Macfarlane are hilarious, the on screen chemistry is just the right amount of Rom-Com what sets it aside, as other reviewers have mentioned in previous post, is the rich and increedibly educational glimpses of the past which include, buty not limited to Marsha p. Jhonson, Sylvia rivera, Elenor Rooosevelt, Stone wall, Harvey Milk and so much more. i think it is paramount that we learn of the wonderful souls whos shoulders we stand on today, whos sacrifices we remember and we honor so that we aim, hope, stride, and work hard so that they hopefully are nver repeated. With paying respect to the wide divers group aof actors representing nd represented in the film. i do recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for a good laugh.

Now i simultaneously have to dislike it for the fact that the on screen romance and ending are just that. This is very very very far and few scenarios that do not portray real life for the two main actos we are inroduced. It very rare that in real life someone like Billy Eichner would end up with someone like Luke Macfarlane. Kudos goes out to these very important and loved LGBTQ+ men. i love to see how much more as a whole, not just here in the states but all around the world and the acceptance, embrace, respect and warm welcome of inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ community and their contributions.
one line from one of the greatest works the Wachowskis have ever blessed us with and that is Jupiter Ascending.
it is the scene where Yarn is speaking with Lady Kalique in regards to trust, which Yarn responds:
"You believe the Hunters can be trusted?
Trust is an illusion, my lady.
I believe only in mutual self-interest.
They want another life. We can offer it.
Make the deal." - end scene.
The same can be said for love.
