My review of Gully Boy Another awesome movie by Zoya Akhtar.👍👍 She's made Dharavi look so cool and real at the same time... The camera work , cinematography direction is so cool that the atmosphere which could have easily turned depressing is never so at any point in time. Students learning film making should definitely watch this movie to learn the nuances of camera work and direction. The casting is on point (Zoyas strong point)... Ranveers mother brother father all do look like him ... His Dharavi friend , the rapsters, aalias family etc. Btw mc sher reminds me of Rohit shetty😊 The music , background score really builds the energy of the film . Emotions are strong yet subtle. Ranveers acting full marks and more ...his look all as per the character without any extra glamour . Alias performance is good too ... The character suits her . The storyline is interesting , street smart and appealing to all classes . Finally the editing is so good that the movie just flows and no scene seems like it's dragging ..length of the movie is perfect . Definitely need to watch this movie more than once ( like all Zoya Akhtar movies)
