Seeing that the Obamas co produced this, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch it. They always seem to push the racial divide. They want white people to feel ashamed. In this movie Julia Roberts shocked me the way her character was portrayed, Mean and hateful. Ethan Hawk was portrayed as weak and useless. Of course the only person that had a head on their shoulders was the guy that owned the house. White characters were portrayed as the problem to the collapse of society. If the dialogue was reversed, this movie would be banned. The daughter says that white people can’t be trusted. Hints of racism towards the main characters. The movie was so unrealistic to what would really happen if this actually happened. Every character was so poorly portrayed, it was ridiculous! The movie disappointed me in so many ways. When is this rhetoric going to stop. I Should have never watched it, I’m tired of watching movies that portray white people as racist and hateful. I don’t know anyone that thinks that way. It left me disappointed and sad.
