This movie was incredibly disappointing. I was so excited to watch it, only to be let down. I can't stand the idea behind it. They advertised it as the "origin" story, showing "day one" of how it all began. However, it offered nothing new—just the same scene from the previous movie where the aliens crash-landed on Earth. The rest of the film was a long, boring story about a girl with cancer trying to get pizza, accompanied by a random guy who served no apparent purpose other than to follow her. To top it off, there was a cat that never seemed scared of the aliens and never made any noise.
