Spectacular film! I loved every minute and Austin Butler IS Elvis, his performance is astonishing as if Elvis's spirit has entered Austin's body. It is a revelation. It focuses on the relationship between Elvis and his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, Tom Hanks, who was both a great asset to Elvis's early career until he wasn't and for selfish reasons didn't end up helping Elvis in the later part of his life, but undermining him instead. The film not only reminds us of the great artist and cultural icon that Elvis was, but gives a better understanding of what led to his downfall.
