This movie was way more than something that can be summed up in a few words. I don't usually find myself writing reviews or even commenting on anything, for that matter; however, I felt the need to urge anyone wondering if they should watch this movie, to please do so.
The camera work is spectacular, exemplary dialogues, the sombre essense of some of the scenes - feels like something out of your daily life on screen, and yet captured perfectly; the randomness of the subtleties thrown in-between, many well crafted digs at capitalist undertones, the whole direction seemed transparently blunt and so damn fresh when compared to the garbage movies that we are accustomed to binging on, off late.
Not even trying to be funny, but I have no clue who the director of this movie is, and I'm only going to find out after I finish typing out this review. The movie was worth the 'time and space' (callback to a scene from the movie itself) that I personally spent watching it. We need more of this type & form of art.
Needless to say, this movie will most probably not win any awards or even come close to the exposure that is given to the Hollywood mainstream trash; but it should, as sad as that may be, it aptly brings closure to the movie in itself - for what it is.
Kudos to the team that created this.
