Kalki smashes it out of the park! I will ignore the item song,the need for songs in general,and the going nowhere Disha Prabhas track,the hit and miss dialogues in places,and the attempts at being “massy”,AND focus on the cracking,coherent Original narrative,that ambitiously creates an authentic Indian home grown Franchise,replete with superb VFX,Fight sequences and stunts,and more importantly launches us into Indian Mytho Sci Fi Multiverse ,the way it needs to be done! Many deft touches,all threads tie up well and the writer director has taken on lesser celebrated heroes from Mythology and built out terrific characters! More importantly,it doesnt derive from Star Wars or Dune,but makes its own space!We cannot say this about pretty much any of our big ticket films these days!
