This movie takes the worst tropes of every action movie and combines them into 2 hours of nothing. What made Gojira great was that it had a simple message and a linear storyline. This movie was literally everywhere, and the message, if I understood it correctly, is that humans are ruining the planet, and the only way to stop us is to essentially destroy ourselves. Reminds me of Avengers: End Game, as does most of the rest of the movie, which explains why it was so dull. The sad thing is they have all the pieces, but they have the most incompetent writers, producers and director.
