So I think that other reviewers want to live in a Disney world. LOL! I thought as many did that the acting, set and chemistry of both actresses captured the time and were great. BTW, youngsters, men did act that way in the 60s. No clue, thought their wives were crazy at the smallest provication and remember, Jessica's character was really afraid she would be committed again. Those who want a hollywood ending are not going to appreciate this movie. It was dark and it ended the way it should have. This is not Real Life people. Get out of your make believe tweeter world of getting personally offending. It is a movie!! Plain and simple. I do agree that there should have been some kind of reason behind the character going off the deep end to such a degree. It would have enriched the movie. I liked the filming of the ending. It felt very period piece and errie.
