I LOVE Nick in this series. He 100% nailed the role. He portrays the character Eric so well. I really hope this role opens a lot of doors for him in acting. I saw the movie and the actors really sucked. The story line of the teacher in the movie was kind of dumb, but in this series the acting and the stories of each character is great. I feel like they should have gotten a younger actress to play Claire, but Kate does a good job, better then the actress in the movie. Good casting. The directing in this series is so great!. Every episode has be asking for more! More DRAMA lol. I read a few comments here saying that its inappropriate or that they are "Romanizing" the couple, but first of all ITS A DRAMA series people! Second if that's what you are getting from this then you are OBVIOSULY small minded. You are not seeing the big picture here. Pressure, stress, mental health, the effects of neglection, how easily someone can take advantage of vulnerability. There is so much going on for this two to get to this point. Such a great show.
