When my best friend saw The Tenant, he paid me a visit the same evening, and demanded we both watch it the following evening. Which we did. When walking up the old Main Street in Salt Lake City Carl made a comment, "When we leave the movie, you won't dare look up at the upper story windows!" I chuckled. On leaving the theater, Carl said, "Look up!" and without looking up l replied, " F_ _ _ Y_ _ !" It was by far, the most disquieting film l have ever seen, and most well crafted in every sense.
