I hate to say it, but this game has been a massive disappointment. While it shows glimpses of potential, it falls flat in several key areas. The animations are painfully repetitive—especially when knocking down an opponent—and the CPU's abilities feel completely unrealistic.
The AI can go from being dominated for eight rounds to suddenly overwhelming you in just a few punches. This isn’t an occasional occurrence; it happens in nearly every fight. No matter how much you outland or outdamage your opponent, the CPU seems to recover effortlessly and land a single punch that knocks you down or out repeatedly.
Worse still, you can dominate a round only to have the AI come back in the next one, seemingly invincible and landing an absurd amount of shots while you struggle to land anything. It doesn't feel like a game of skill—it feels like a game of chance.
I waited a long time for this game to release, and I’ve tried for weeks to enjoy it, but it’s been more frustrating than fun. That said, when the game *does* work, it feels smooth and fluid, but unfortunately, those moments are far too rare. Even the basic mechanics, like punch accuracy, seem to falter randomly, leaving you scratching your head.
For the £65 price tag, the experience just doesn’t justify the cost. At best, this feels like a £25–£30 game. If you’re considering playing it, be aware that it’s not the game it was hyped up to be. There are enjoyable moments to be had, but they’re overshadowed by the overwhelming frustration.
